Arden's Information Report


AFRICAN ELEPHANTS

INTRODUCTION
An elephant is a big big mammal that has large ears and a trunk. An elephant has a grey long trunk and has big big fat feet. It has big flappy ears. They little little eyes.

Habitat
The African elephants are also known as African bush elephants. Most elephants live in tropical regions, lakes and rivers.

Food
Elephants drink water and use their trunks to spray themselves to keep cool. They eat roots and bark off trees. Amazing, they drink up to 70- 90 litres of water a day.
